WORKSHOP | Sabina Makaj

– warm welcome and acquaintance of the participants, easy going mood (flow) is to be obtained
– making safe surrounding, so children can relax completely and have trust

In a safe circle we will practice easy brain and breathing exercises, maybe light stretching at the beginning and relaxing at the end (savasana).

Helping children easier express their emotions, manage stress,  built self-esteem, approach to challenge;
Improving: Focus, breathing, listening, feeling with other senses then sight;

Workshop will be interactive, children will „feel“ nature, people, energy, by listening, relaxing, connecting hands, eyes;
These kinds of workshops learn children how to deal stressed situations, how to ground, how to let go negative (low vibration) emotions…learn them how to react (not react) to everyday situations which is maybe not how we imagined or expected

Duration approx. 90-120min

WORKSHOP | Mirela Mirić

Being in the area of Rudopolje, which is just by the Plitvice Lakes National Park gives us a great opportunity of being surrounded by protected and full of life nature. That is why the workshop will start with an introduction to the area and biodiversity in general. What it is, how it is affected by people and what are the small (but big) steps towards conservation. We will go for a walk in the area of Rudopolje to explore its biodiversity by looking for plants, insects, reptiles and amphibians. Depending on what we find, we will talk about species biology, ecology and if it is under any protection. The aim of the workshop is to broaden the knowledge of biodiversity with the purpose to break any kind of fear children might have and to enjoy nature 🙂

Duration: 120 min, please bring water and safe shoes with you to the workshop

About Mirela

I feel at my bestest while outside walking among nature and observing what insects are flying or walking around. Once I became aware that in the world there are more than one million insect species I could not stop looking around for them. And once you start you notice they are everywhere and I can’t stop asking which species that is? That is why i am happy to be a part

of NGO association Hyla where we do species monitoring projects in Croatia with the aim of habitat and species conservation. If you would like to know more about me feel free to ask me at my workshop or if you pass me by.

WORKSHOP | Eva Herceg

This workshop is mainly for children, but anyone who wants to give their inner child the space to express and enjoy themselves is welcome to join.

We will explore the beautiful area of the Mystic Mountain festival and translate our discoveries into the costumes of regional ferries and mystical creatures: exploring the branches, shapes, and texture of leaves, making the invisible and all-present come to the focus of our minds. We will collect the natural resources: little stones, branches, leaves, berries, and fruits of nature, and design together the costumes for our mystical selves. We can make crowns, masks, shirts, dresses and wands—anything that will bring the magical self to life.

About Eva

Hello there, I’m Eva, an art educator and artist with 10+ years of experience in the field of art. I own a small business called Artistress, with the main motto: Create art without stress (or relieve stress by using the arts). My mission in life is to be present for all the people who would like to find their own visual voice and express themselves through pictures, colours, shapes, and textures. I believe we all carry artists within us and that expressing ourselves is one of our basic human needs. I don’t believe in talent, which scares many people, as people are constantly proving to me that everyone can find their own voice and techniques that suit them and create something beautiful while enjoying the process. And the process of creation has always had a bigger meaning for me than the final result: it makes us present and emotional, it teaches us, and it shows us who we are. You can find me on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/eva_artistress/  Let’s connect and enjoy this life together.

WORKSHOP | Ivan Kronja aka Deep Ra

This workshop is guaranteed fun for everyone no matter your age or gender.

Get to know percussion and all of the forms, playing techniques and benefits they provide for our body and mind… from all over the globe.

Congas, bongos, djembe, frame drum, tarabuka, riq, rattles are waiting for you to try them out and create rhythmic images that will make you laugh and/or dance.

You will be guided through this workshop by Ivan Kronja,  lover of  the rhythm,  who acquired his rhythmic stunts through many years of playing in rock, alt, punk, tribal bands:
Vrulja, Trauma, Crna kronika, The Richter, Deer Diapers, Dub General, Rhythm tribe, Kik d beat, as a street performer and DJ and producer AKA Deep Ra.

Meet the drums!!!

About Ivan

Hello everyone, I am Ivan.

I’m a drummer!!

Drums and music are my life, literally and figuratively.

All important decisions, people and my best experiences are related to the drum and music. All that I am. Everything I love.

Life is a rhythm. Sometimes irregular, syncopated. Sometimes it throws you off the rails.

It is important to come back, find the groove, then you smile again and see the beauty. The drum taught me that.

I hope that it will turn out similarly for you to. I would consider that a successful workshop.

I make music, either as an active member in a band, and lately with my own production and as a DJ.

From my production as well as sets, it can be heard that I am a drummer and percussionist. Tribal, full of rhythm considering that I play percussion live in parallel with the set.

Hrvoje Rupčić, Nino Mureškić & Famoudou Konate helped me a lot in my personal development and progress, as well as gaining invaluable experience…

When the opportunity presents itself and interest is shown, I hold percussion workshops where I primarily want to get the team interested in the instrument itself and the gig…

whether it’s Djembe, Conga, Bongos, Frame drum, Tarabuka, Bubanj…

I had the honor of performing at a festival with a similar theme, High Grounds, and among the other performances, I would single out the last one at Špancir Fest.

I am a great lover of nature, where I try to stay as much and as long as possible, engaged in alpinism and mountaineering, and a proud parent of two beautiful daughters.

I Like to think of myself as a cheerful person who likes to gain new experiences and meet new people, and in this way build myself up.

Let there be Rhythm!!

WORKSHOP for grownups & children | Sabina Makaj

This workshop will combine conversations about natural materials and natural building and the process of making dorodango balls. through which you will feel how fun and healing is it to work with natural materials.

Dorodango in Japanese means  „ make the mud shine“

– introduction to ingredients , selection of natural dyes
– familiarization with the procedure and tools which we will use in the procedure
– making dorodango – we will make several variants (according to the wishes of the participants, we can dye them with cucruma, red clay, indigo…)

Workshop will be interactive, participants will „feel“ materials by hands & eyes…they will propose or chose ingredients according to what suit them most

Making Dorodango can be a very meditative inner proces, and has many benefits on a psychological level. It is great for grunding. You can always put them in your house as decoration, or long term project you can always come back to, improve it (shape or shine)

– expected duration approx. 1,5 hour with tendention  to last longer (depends how deep will we immerse in proces)

About Sabina

I have variety of loves:

Music is my first love, I am singing and playing flute…connecting with IT from early age

My second love is creating natural cosmetics „BinaGreen“, and conducting workshops on that subjects.

Third great love I have found is in the Natural Building. Connecting & combining with natural materials such as stone, clay, straw, wood is most satisfying thing that i have tryed…
I have engaged in “construction work” many times, it always resulted with big problems on my skin (I have skin problems as long as I  remember) in contact with glues, cement, etc., but since I met clay, everything made sense and I found materials that are beneficial to me and my hands.
I graduated from the Academy of Natural Construction, and held a workshop for children and parents in that area…

I am a great nature lover, in which I try to be as much as possible. ..  continuously working on myself for my personal growth and the improvement of my two children.

I am extremely communicative, casual, cheerful, tall, curly, full of colors and joy….
Love to share knowledge and experience.
